A 6-month temporary suspension of Dubai visa will now come to an end as the state will resume issuing visas to foreign visitors to all seven of its regions, as per local media.  Dubai has been the first emirate to lift up this temporary halt on Dubai visas in the wake of the pandemic.

FAIC (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) quoted that this step was to ease the COVID-19 restrictions in the Middle-East. FAIC added that this decision would also facilitate recovery of the economy that has suffered due to global lockdowns.

All Arab countries have eased down curfews and restrictions within their boundaries. Social distancing and small gatherings remain a constraint in many countries. While Oman has announced the start of International flights from Oct 1st 2020 with strict guidelines and measures to save the country and the airlines staff from the pandemic.
