The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) and the Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has quoted that foreign nationals holding valid residence visa can return to the UAE starting June 1st, 2020.

MoFAIC and ICA in a joint statement aforementioned that the decision stems from the UAE's insight to enable those holding valid residence visas to rejoin with their families after being affected by the precautionary measures taken under the current exceptional scenarios to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

"The move is aimed at streamlining their safe return to the UAE," added the statement.
